➢ Conducted research on: Ongoing Effects of Pre-migration Traumas on the Mental Health of Bhutanese Refugees in the United States: A Qualitative Inquiry. The purpose of this study is to explore how Bhutanese refugees in USA perceive the effects of pre-migration traumas on their post-migration mental health and well- being.

➢ Employed 500 plus employees each day and most of them are from our community. ➢ Donated small donations to various Bhutanese based social organizations to uplift community.

❖ Founding President of Bhutanese Community in Scranton
➢ Helped resettlement agency to properly identify the real problem of the community members when they were in the transactional phase of their life.
➢ Established community center for the newly arrived refugees and conducted various orientation, language classes, job orientations, Driver License Classes, School child connection program, and cultural programs for the betterment of the community members.
➢ Presented Bhutanese Community to other communities through various platforms and programs.
➢ Serving, planning, presenting, and organizing community-based program with collaboration with Marywood University for the wellbeing of the community members.
➢ Served as a liaison between communities and the peer organizations, communicating various issues and troubleshooting and resolving problems.
➢ Presented the Bhutanese Nepali community’s history, culture, problems, and present status in the well-organized program to the other local community organizations.
